The Young Carers Festival recognises Young Carers in the community and the challenges they face and conquer. A free fun-filled event for young hero’s families whilst also providing support information

TIME: 11AM – 3PM
(Cnr Lansdowne St and Wellington Pde)

ABOUT: An awesome event to celebrate young people with caring responsibilities, The Young Carers Festival gives young carers the chance to have fun away from their caring role, raise awareness of this often hidden group of young people and allows them to share experiences with others in a similar situation whilst also enjoying a free fun-filled day out with their family.

ACTIVITIES: Receive your superhero training certificate, move through the superhero zones from Superman to Spiderman, Wonderwoman, Frozen and our Everyday Superheroes. Brace yourself for all of the favourites including a petting zoo, jumping castles, obstacle courses, blender bikes, arts and crafts, nail art, airbrush tattoos, video games, yoga, information stalls and much much more!
