Carers Day is a day for all Australians to think about the contribution of carers in their community and to consider doing something in return for a carer they know. People may wish to take a carer out for a meal or an activity, or they may simply make the effort to spend some time with them or give them a call. We’re leaving it up to individuals to come up with ways to recognise the essential role of carers in our community. All across Australia, activities to celebrate Carers Day will be taking place – from large events to small social gatherings.
